Hannah Montana: Behind The Spotlight

Everyone at Pinky's office loves Hannah Montana, the smart and funny Disney kids show starring the cute Miley Cyrus. Behind The Spotlight is a DVD containing four episodes of the smash show, including the original pilot.

The premise of the show is about an average schoolgirl, Miley Stewart, who has a double life as pop/rock star Hannah Montana. During the day she hangs with her school friends Lilly and Oliver (who are in on her secret), but by night she's the fabulously popular Hannah Montana. The reason why Miley keeps her Hanna Montana persona a secret is because she wants to be treated as a 'normal' teen.

Yes, this probably sounds a little corny, but it actually works.

The best thing about this show is the writing and performances. The scripts are really, really funny. There's lots of great gags, and some truly sassy writing. Miley Cyrus is a natural, who can really run with the funny lines she's given and make them come alive. Jason Earle, who plays Miley's brother, Jackson, does a really good job too.

Mr Pinky will be setting his recorder in future to try and catch some more episodes from the telly.
